Clan Poroghini was a family group on Venus in the distant past, of which Dharkhig was a member. When the First Doctor, Ian and Barbara visited the planet for Dharkhig's funeral, they met several of his fellow clanspeople, including Jilet Mrak-ecado, Trikhobu and Presidor Jofghil.
