Rombus was major domo of the Caecilius household. Lobus Caecilius asked Rombus to get some ants in honey and a dormouse for him. He later announced the arrival of the augur Lucius Petrus Dextrus. When a Pyrovile came out of the floor of the Caecilius household, Rombus was incinerated by its fire breath. (TV: The Fires of Pompeii)
Behind the scenes
Rombus' name comes from dialogue in the episode. In the credits of The Fires of Pompeii, Rombus is only credited as "Major Domo".
