Nicholas Simons was a member of Lord Kenilworth's expedition to Egypt. He helped the Fifth Doctor solve the riddle that allowed them to enter Nephthys tomb. However, he was killed by a blast of psychic energy when the tomb was opened. Sadan Rassul reanimated his corpse later to help prevent the expedition from removing some of the artefacts.
