Originally Captain of a spaceship, the Hydrax, in E-Space, Sharkey (eventually Zargo), along with two other officers, ruled the planet he landed on, from the Tower, through keeping the population in a constant fear of The Wasting as King, with Camilla as his queen. Achieving immortality through a race known as the Great Vampires, over the years Sharkey became known as "Zargo"., forbidding all knowledge. Years ago, he once pursued the group of rebels with help from his men. Zargo eventually died when the Doctor launched one of the shuttles into the heart of the Great Vampire, causing Zargo, Aukon and Camilla to lose their immortality, subsequently ageing to death.
