Munro was a radio operator on the Prince Charlie oil rig when it was attacked and destroyed by the Skarasen. He survived and made it to shore, where he was found by Harry Sullivan, but before he could tell him all of what happened, he was shot and killed by the Zygon who was impersonating Caber.
