Stephen Patrick David Gately was an Irish pop singer and actor. He was a founding member of Irish boy band Boyzone. He appeared in the Big Finish Productions New Eighth Doctor Adventure Horror of Glam Rock as Tommy Tomorrow.

When offered the role of Tommy Tomorrow Gately accepted it immediately not only because he was a horror and scifi fan himself, but because his husband was a fan of Doctor Who.[1]

With Clare Buckfield, Gately performed the song "Children of Tomorrow" which featured in Horror of Glam Rock. The song was later released as Gately's first single in five years; due to the singer's untimely death, it would be his final musical release.
