Tarzan in Once Upon a Time Lord
Tarzan was a fictional character, and the protagonist of the novel Tarzan of the Apes.
Ace nicknamed Nimrod (a Neanderthal, a primitive man perhaps resembling an ape) "Tarzan". (TV: Ghost Light)
When Hilary Pink asked the Eighth Doctor if he had ever read Tarzan of the Apes, the Doctor replied that he had met him, too. (PROSE: Eater of Wasps)
Behind the scenes
- Brian Blessed played Clayton in the 1999 Disney film.
- Phil Collins, who wrote the music to the 1999 film, was one of the many actors thrown out to play the Master in the 1996 Doctor Who TV movie.
