A fluencegenerator was a device used by the company Blastertal to engineer a war so they could sell the viewing rights. When Bernice Summerfield learned of this, through the illegal acquisition of records at the Braxiatel Collection, she became a contestant on Blastertal's game show Eat the Poor, sabotaged their equipment, and sent out a transmission of the records using the fluencegenerator.
