Tim Medway was a BBC reporter.
In 1968, he came to the village of Crook Marsham to interview Edmund Trevithick since the BBC was rebroadcasting his series Nightshade.
Later, when he found the body of Thomas Edward Hawthorne rapidly decomposing after being fed on by the Sentience, he tried to leave. The fear barrier with which it had surrounded the village prevented him, but he tried to make it through anyway.
