Notes
- This book continues the theme of the 2009 novels in featuring returning monsters. It also continues the trend of the Tenth Doctor travelling without a companion.
- Since the Doctor last encountered the Nestene Conscieneous while meeting Rose Tyler in (DW: Rose (TV story)), there may be a reference to this encounter, as well as Rose departures, in (DW: Doomsday, Journey's End)
