Alex Marlowe was a former rock star turned geneticist who tried to genetically engineer a new strain of Krynoid. He wanted to save the planet by any means necessary. He later took Lucie Miller prisoner and wanted to use her for her experiments. (AUDIO: Hothouse)
Behind the scenes
On the blurb of Hothouse, the character is named "Alex Marlow", while on the cast list, he is named "Alex Marlowe".
