What I'd like to know is:
*How the Second Doctor knows who the Tremas-Master is in "The Five Doctors"? He didn't show up until the Third Doctor era, and the First Doctor didn't know who he was.
*Why does the Second Doctor operate a TARDIS console (as well as the room itself) that wasn't his? I know the real-world reason, but what is the in-universe reason. And how is he suddenly able to steer it properly? --[[User:Danniesen|DCLM]] [[User talk:Danniesen|☎]] 18:17, March 12, 2017 (UTC)

"How, in TV: The Five Doctors, does the Second Doctor know that the Time Lords had erased the memories of Jamie McCrimmon and Zoe Heriot?"

Answer: He knows because the Time Lords told him in "The War Games." When the Doctor said, "they'll forget me, won't they?", one of the Time Lords replied that they'd remember their first adventure with the Doctor, but nothing more.

So the Doctor was well aware of what had been done to Jamie and Zoe's memories.

I don't understand why that point is continually raised in season 6B discussions, given that it's established in dialogue that the Doctor knows how much Jamie and Zoe will remember.

On the other hand, the Doctor shouldn't have said, "how do you know who we are?" to the Jamie and Zoe phantoms in "The Five Doctors." He should have asked how they know who the Brigadier is.

    • Yes, but in theory, the Second Doctor regenerated shortly after that. That's why the existence of series 6B is so hotly debated - accepting only the TV series a canonical there is only a span of, at most, a couple hours between when Jamie and Zoe had their minds erased, and the Doctor was forced to regenerate - and he was in the custody of the Time Lords the entire time. Name of the Doctor

Should The Name of the Doctor -- specifically the incident in which the Second Doctor was in the presence of one of the Claras -- be included, given that the Doctor is dressed identically to how he was dressed in The Five Doctors and is similarly aged? 68.146.70.124talk to me 23:56, January 12, 2014 (UTC)

The Three Doctors: 6B or not 6B

So for as long as I've known about Season 6B, I've always placed The Three Doctors firmly inside. However, it seems on the Second Doctor page itself that the events that happened in this episode are not listed in the time he spent post-War Games and pre-exhile. Therefore one of these pages needs correcting. :)

As a pinickity fan who likes to get canon correct, I just wanted to raise this to your attentions.TheFartyDoctor Talk 19:11, May 6, 2014 (UTC)

What is your in-universe source for placing it in 6B? Shambala108 19:52, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
I'm proving neither wrong. I'm saying that both articles say two different things regarding the placing of the story. The 6B article states that the Three Doctors happens as part of the 6B/CIA incident while the Second Doctor article does not. If someone wants to fix it, go ahead. I was pointing it out.

The Black Hole

The Black Hole (audio story) gives a different explanation for what we see in The Two Doctors. Meaning that "Season 6B" goes out the window.

In addition, it is established in the Second Doctor comics in TV Comic, while the Second Doctor is travelling with Jamie McCrimmon in Invasion of the Quarks (comic story) that the Second Doctor has heard of Quarks before, but has never actually encountered them before! Therefore obviously placing these comics before The Dominators (TV story). However, this wiki chooses to ignore Invasion of the Quarks, and start the Two/Jamie comic stories with the next comic, and therefore place them in"Season 6B"!

And if Season 6B is "established as narrative fact" does that make The Black Hole non-canonical? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 197.88.60.232 (talk).

Two sources can contradict each other without one being invalid on the site. In terms of TVC comics and the Black Hole audio, I'd love to see elements from that implemented on the site. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 14:06, November 22, 2015 (UTC)
