You forgot an important element in the story : Kill the Moon (episode 7 of season 8). It's a metal plate with symbol that prevents the three to be sucked. (in the 29th minute)

This plate is important because it is found on the ship in episode 2 of season 7: Dinosaurs were Spaceship in the 27th minute, as we have seen. As episode 7 of season 7: The Rings of Akhaten when clara lies with merry in the 12th minute and in episode 10 of season 7, Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS, the metal plate on clara in the 7th minute.

In episode 2 of season 8 : Into the dalek from the 31st minute, we see several metallic plates with the same symbol.

There may be others but I do not have to find.

I actually thought the metal plate covering the breach was an homage to the infamous tea tray scene from The Moonbase. 213.249.213.20^{talk to me} 19:00, October 8, 2014 (UTC)

For summary, we find metal plate in season 7 : episode 2 : Dinosaurs were Spaceship , episode 7 : The Rings of Akhaten and episode 10 : Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS

And in season 8 : episode 2 : Into the Dalek , episode 7 : Kill the Moon.

I find it strange find that same symbol in different location through time : in a Spaceship, in a Market, into the Tardis, into the Dalek, in a Mexican Moonbase.

Perhaps the next metal plate with the symbol in episode 10 season 8 ?
