After the Doctor plucked Clara away from her death by the [[Quantum Shade]] through the [[extraction chamber]], they retreated into [[the Matrix]], where they were followed by [[the General]], [[Ohila]] and [[Gastron]]. The Doctor escaped, and materialized the stolen TARDIS around Clara.

They then took the TARDIS to the [[end of the universe]], where the Doctor found [[Ashildr]] waiting in a chair, a [[chess]]board set up for when the Doctor arrived. They discussed the [[Hybrid]], and Clara used the [[sonic sunglasses]] to listen in on the conversation. The Doctor later entered the TARDIS with Ashildr, and decided that Clara needed a memory wipe of him so that she could live a normal life again. Clara convinced him to make it completely random, and the Doctor ended up wiping his own memory of Clara. After he was unconsious, Clara piloted the TARDIS to [[Nevada]], [[Earth]], and dropped him off, before despositing the TARDIS nearby and disguising it as a North American [[diner]]. Later, the Doctor went in, and Clara, knowing that he didn't remember her, gave him a [[lemonade]] and had him tell the story of his adventures on [[Gallifrey]].
Clara, now on the run from the Time Lords, piloted the TARDIS to [[Nevada]] where she dropped the Doctor off in the care of an unidentified man. She then recovered [[The Doctor's TARDIS]] from London and transported it to Nevada.

When the story was done, Clara opened part of the wall and stepped back into the console room, where Ashildr was waiting. She told Clara she couldn't fix the [[chameleon circuit]], so the TARDIS was stuck looking like a diner. Clara said that was "awesome," and dematerialized the TARDIS out of Nevada.
Clara and Me landed the TARDIS nearby, where its chameleon circuit took the form of a diner. The Doctor, attempting to remember Clara, visited the diner. Clara's TARDIS was a TARDIS of indeterminate model (though reminiscent of a Type 40) that was piloted by Clara Oswald and her companion, Me, after having left the Doctor's company.

This TARDIS was initially stolen by the Doctor in order to allow Clara to escape Gallifrey and remain alive instead of being forced to return to the moment on her death on the trap street (TV: Face the Raven). The Doctor piloted the TARDIS to the last moment of time in the future, where he was united with Ashildr. The Doctor planned to wipe Clara's memory of him, but instead he wiped his own.

Clara, now on the run from the Time Lords, piloted the TARDIS to Nevada where she dropped the Doctor off in the care of an unidentified man. She then recovered The Doctor's TARDIS from London and transported it to Nevada.

Clara and Me landed the TARDIS nearby, where its chameleon circuit took the form of a diner. The Doctor, attempting to remember Clara, visited the diner. During the visit, the Doctor indicated that the diner was the same one where he'd once met Amy Pond and Rory Williams, even though it had been in another location at that time. (TV: The Impossible Astronaut)

After realizing there was no way to make the Doctor remember her, Clara said goodbye to the Doctor, entering the console room of her TARDIS through a rear door in the diner. Clara and Ashildr decided to take off and return the TARDIS to Gallifrey, taking "the long way 'round". (TV: Hell Bent)

Behind the Scenes

  • It is left ambiguous as to whether the diner visited by Amy, Rory, River and the Doctor in The Impossible Astronaut might have been Clara's TARDIS, gone back in time.
  • The interior of Clara's TARDIS is a near-replica of the TARDIS set used during the First Doctor era.
