Clayton was Lady Me's servant. He was half blind and "deaf as a post". When the Doctor arrived at Me's mansion, he asked who the Doctor was. Later, Me planned to sacrifice Clayton with the Eyes of Hades so she could open a portal with his death. Me spared him when she was informed that Sam Swift was captured and to be hanged in Tyburn at noon, and rode off to use his death instead. (TV: The Woman Who Lived)
