A fortune teller worked on the planet Shan Shen. She offered to foretell Donna Noble's future, but seemed more interested in manipulating her past. Her suggestion that Donna should turn away from her fateful first day at H.C. Clements made the Time Beetle, one of the Trickster's Brigade, create a parallel world in which the Tenth Doctor was killed during his encounter with the Empress of the Racnoss after Donna took different route where she started working as Jival Chowdry's secretary.

After Donna, with the aid of Rose Tyler, was powerful enough to overcome the Beetle in her parallel world, the fortune teller fled, terrified that Donna was able to do this. (TV: Turn Left)
