The Hyperion War was a war between the alliance of races and the living suns known as the Hyperions.
Rassilon assembled an alliance of other races to fight the Hyperions, and defeated them. However, a few Hyperions remained and were scattered across the universe. (COMIC: Terrorformer)
After the war, the alliance set out to purge other forces that posed a threat to universal harmony. One of their targets was Count D'if. (COMIC: Gangland)
