Ramoothra was a city inhabited by non-humanoids and held together by pins of all sizes.
When reminiscing on the sense-hives of Ramoothra, the Tenth Doctor remarked that the city was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, but the latter did not happen very often. (COMIC: The Fountains of Forever)
