With both forces following a logical machine outcome, the war lasted for centuries with not a single shot fired as both sides were equally matched. The Dalek Battle Computer was a computer interface the Daleks used that required a humanoid interface to function as the creative intelligence. The Renegade Daleks placed one on Earth in 1963this Battle Computer required a Human interface to act as a creative intelligence, the human was a young child that was conditioned to obey the Daleks. (DW: Remembrance of the Daleks) Later in their history when they were manipulating the Fifth Axis the Daleks experimented with using older more tactically aware human beings as Battle Computers.
