Marshal Summerfield II was the son of Benedict Summerfield III.
He was born in the early 23rd century and he grew up on Vandor Secunda with his sister Christine Summerfield. In the 2240s, Marshal's father committed suicide. In Benedict's suicide note, he ordered that Marshal be sent to a military college to "learn some proper discipline".
He attended Caprisi Military Academy and went on to become its director. He retained this role for most of the late 23rd century. He passed on the position to his son Marshal Summerfield III.
Records of Marshal were kept until the 26th century. Christine Summerfield learned about Marshal when she read the Summerfield family tree. (PROSE: Dead Romance)
