Marshal Summerfield VI was the great-great-grandfather of Bernice Summerfield.
Marshal was born in 2389. In an attempt to bring back his family's "glorious military past", Marshal was given the name as his great-great-grandfather Marshal Summerfield V, who ran the Caprisi Military Academy. By the end of 2389, young Marshal VI had been given to the Earth military by his father.
Marshal grew up to be a "pretty mediocre" soldier who "didn't do much at all" in the army's civil service.
In the early 25th century, Marshal had a son he named Dylan Summerfield II.
Records of Marshal were kept until the late 26th century. Christine Summerfield learned about Marshal when she read the Summerfield family tree. (PROSE: Dead Romance)
