- 16 January - PROSE: Eternity Weeps was first published. It featured return appearances by Bernice Summerfield and Elizabeth Shaw.
- 16 January - PROSE: Burning Heart was first published. This was the final Sixth Doctor novel in the Virgin Missing Adventures series.

- 20 February - PROSE: The Room With No Doors was first published.
- 20 February - PROSE: A Device of Death was first published.
- 20 March - PROSE: Lungbarrow was first published
