- 2006: The Doctor, Rose Tyler, and Mickey Smith stop an invasion of Earth by the Sycorax DW: The Christmas Invasion.
- 2008: A spacegoing replica of the RMS Titanic, also called the Titanic, narrowly avoids a planned collision with Buckingham Palace thanks to the timely intervention of the Doctor. (DW: Voyage of the Damned) Had it hit, London would have been destroyed in a nuclear blast. (DW: Turn Left)
