The SS Madame De Pompadour was a space ship which was built circa 51st Century. It had a crew of 50 and a similar number of Repair Robots, which were designed to repair the ship at any cost to themselves or the crew. (DW: The Girl in the Fireplace)
When it was 37 years old (DW: The Girl in the Fireplace), the ship was damaged by an ion storm (DW: Tardisode 4 in the Dagmar Cluster. (DW: The Girl in the Fireplace) The Repair Robots immediately attacked the crew (DW: Tardisode 4) in order to use human body parts to repair the spacecraft.
