Pilgrim was a small Cardiff-based discussion group on metaphysical and philosophical matters. It was run by Mark and Sarah Brisco. The rogue Torchwood Three member Suzie Costello belonged to Pilgrim.

Suzie used mind control and Retcon to program one Pilgrim member, Max Tresilian, into murdering the Briscoes and Alex Arwyn, and to attempt to kill another member of Pilgrim, Lucie McKenzie, after Suzie herself had died. Costello had, in fact, used the Pilgrim mystery as bait so Torchwood Three would bring her back to life with the resurrection gauntlet. (TV: They Keep Killing Suzie)
