::::::I agree with SOTO on this one. I originally provided the name for the page [[Andra'ath's mother]] because that was Quill's name on Rhodia. Having this page as Andra'ath's partner fits the individual, while providing clarity between any possible future partners. Rename

Look D&P, I agree with you. I don't think this page needs a rename. But if a rename tag was added, there must be a discussion before removing it. The only exception is (I believe) if the suggested rename directly breaks one of the policies. OncomingStorm12th 21:47, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

Fair enough, I hope you don't think I was having a dig at you - I promise I wasn't. 😊 On the subject, Quill is an alias, it's like putting John Smith's TARDIS. I mean, it's just not the done thing. Anyways, best wishes. - Denchen: Lord of Invalidness 21:51, November 29, 2016 (UTC)
The most commonly used name is what we use, regardless of what she was known as back then. --DCLM 22:14, November 29, 2016 (UTC)
I personally disagree with that stance, I think. The most common name is what we use for Quill's page, certainly. But let's say, for example, we had a page specifically for Melody Pond's room at the orphanage. We wouldn't call it River Song's room despite that being the character's most common name, because she wasn't River Song at the time. She was Melody Pond. And Quill went by Andra'ath when she was with this partner.

Couldn't agree more SOTO. I thought to name the page Andra'ath rather than the Quill suggested in the red links. I changed it at my own admission. 😊 Best wishes. - Denchen: Lord of Invalidness 22:30, November 29, 2016 (UTC)
I was the one who originally placed them, and I placed them at this name, actually.

That one's easy. Even though we know her name, we've never experienced parts of Quill's life where she was Andra'ath. Therefore the page should use her current name. We know River Song by both that name and Melody Pond, though you would never refer to the first and second incarnation as "River Song", likewise you wouldn't refer to her third incarnation as "Melody Pond". You wouldn't say "Melody Pond came to the Library" or "River Song was often in detention in school (as those respective parts of her life weren't experienced by the other that she was). They never do that on the show either (except for those times where River explains who she actually is). And we've experienced her life as both Melody Pond, and as River Song. Therefore, a page title like "Melody Pond's room" would be legit. --DCLM 23:12, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

SOTO my good pal. I wasn't suggesting you put Quill's partner, I was suggesting someone had changed it to the latter, when I created the page - I did have to change it - Denchen: Lord of Invalidness 23:17, November 29, 2016 (UTC)
I promise I changed it.

I agree with SOTO on this one. I originally provided the name for the page Andra'ath's mother because that was Quill's name on Rhodia. Having this page as Andra'ath's partner fits the individual, while providing clarity between any possible future partners. 66 Seconds 01:56, December 3, 2016 (UTC)
