Roztoq was a criminal from the planet Quinnis.

Roztoq came to Earth with a silver entity. He struck up a friendship with Annabel Greystone, without the knowledge of her father, Lord Geoffrey Greystone. The First Doctor was aware of Roztoq's presence on Earth, and had Lord Greystone arrange a meeting between himself and Roztoq.

At Lord Greystone's house, the Doctor met Roztoq and tried to convince him to leave Earth. Roztoq threw the silver entity, which was controlling him, at Annabel, whom it also controlled. After the Doctor helped Annabel rid herself of the entity, Steven Taylor punched Roztoq, and the Doctor returned Roztoq to Quinnis' prison moon, Ronnos. (PROSE: 64 Carlysle Street)
