Ross Southard was a script assistant in the Doctor Who office around 2008,[1] as well as on Torchwood, where he was credited for the job on Adrift.
Ross later worked as a production assistant on the Doctor Who television story Closing Time. He was interviewed in the Doctor Who Confidential attached to that episode, Heartbreak Hotel.
Outside of the DWU, Ross has worked on Upstairs, Downstairs and Crash. He is also a researcher for Casualty, for which he also wrote a webisode entitled, Radio Holby: Part Two, released in October of 2014.
Ross runs a writing night called Little Plays, for amateur playwrights, at Neath Little Theatre, where he is also involved in staging and technical duties of their amateur productions.
