The "About the Authors" section of Short Trips: Christmas Around the World refers to writer William Potter as "putting words into the mouths of", among others, Shrek. This is in reference to Shrek's Quests, a fortnightly magazine published by GE Fabbri between 2008 and 2009.
Similarly, To the Slaughter cites Stephen Cole as having written "Essential Guides" to films such as Shrek.
