Colin McFarlane played several roles throughout the Doctor Who universe.
His first role came in the 2007 Doctor Who Christmas special, Voyage of the Damned, in which he provided the voice for the Heavenly Host.
In 2009 he played the recurring character of General Austin Pierce in the Torchwood Children Of Earth episodes Day Three, Day Four and Day Five.
In 2015, he played Jonathan Moran and his "ghost" in the Doctor Who stories Under the Lake and Before the Flood.
In addition, McFarlane also performed the audio book reading of the novel PROSE: The Blood Cell in 2014.
