Cyber-Technology was a blanket term given to inventions of the Cybermen. Whilst being highly advanced, Cybermen could not always rely on Cyber-Technology and, when beneficial, commandeered alien technology such as Cryon refrigeration technology (DW: Attack of the Cybermen) and gravity-manipulating technology created by Humans (DW: The Moonbase). The Cyber-Leader stated, while watching the non-Human Doctor use Cyber-Technology, that Humans lacked the ability to understand it, an observation which tipped him off to the Doctor's identity. (DW: Earthshock)

It remains unclear as to whether the Cybermen (Pete's World) regarded their machinery as "Cyber-Technology" as much of their technology was not of their own creation, but that of Cybus Industries.
