History
The Fleshkind were embroiled in a local conflict with their neighbours.
To achieve a final victory, they created Cerebravores from local Pranavores by removing the connection to their hive mind, their conscience and any higher sense of self. The resulting telepathic strike force staged a revolution against their creators. They overrun the planet. The Tenth Doctor did not see a possibility to save the Fleshkind or other inhabitants of the planet.
By mistake, a dimensional bridge created by a Fleshkind scientist delivered an advance Cerebravore party to Earth instead of the Fleshkind enemies. (COMIC: Revolutions of Terror)
