Praygat was a Tritovore who came along with his collegue Sorvin to trade with San Helios in return for dung to feed on. However their ship was grounded by the Swarm and they were marooned on San Helios after it was destroyed. Sometime later they saw the number 200 bus arrive through a wormhole and brought the Doctor and Christina de Souza to their ship at gunpoint. They planned to kill them both as they assumed they were responsible for the attack on San Helios. However the Doctor soon proved them wrong and they soon gathered enough equipment to take the bus back through the wormhole. He then offered them passage to Earth, where they could hopefully find a home. Praygat and Sorvin agreed but were both killed when one of the Swarm burst through the ceiling and devoured them.

Behind the Scenes

  • Praygat was not named on screen, only in the credits.
  • It is not known which one of the Tritovores was Praygat. Paul Kasey states in DWM that his character, Sorvin, had a few scenes in the desert, which leads us to believe that Sorvin was the Tritovore who took The Doctor and Christina to the ship.
