Gareth Preston wrote the BBV Productions audio story Conduct Unbecoming (featuring the Sontarans) and the film Do You Have a Licence to Save this Planet?, in which he appeared as a delivery man. Preston has since then worked on various projects with Westlake Films and Darker Projects.
He also was multi-functional for the comedy tale Auton Diaries, he was also the lead.
