Louise Cassell was an assistant editor of Doctor Who Magazine under Sheila Cranna and John Freeman. She was a key figure in the production of Doctor Who Classic Comics, where she was once jokingly credited as "Traffic Controller". In truth, one of her biggest tasks on the book was as colourist on several reprinted comic strips that were originally monochromatic.
