Marco Goss worked in telecommunication and had been transferred from Guildford to the Lake District. He moved into Hambleton Estate with his wife, June Goss and son, Nathan Goss. June and Marco did not care about their neighbours and preferred to be on their own. They shouted at the kids in the neighbourhood, threw things at a dog and called the police to complain about a quiet party. Their neighbours did not like the family, except Nathan.
