Prelude Sanctuary was, as the name suggested, a prelude to Sanctuary by David A. McIntee. It did not appear in the published novel, but rather served as a prequel printed in Doctor Who Magazine 225.

Summary

As a teenager, Bernice Summerfield stows away on the Faithful Pet and meets its captain, Lisa Nguyen. Years later, she meets Lisa again while en route to an archaeological expedition on Camus II.
