Barring a sudden collapse in viewership resulting in cancellation or other unforeseen factors such as scheduling and budgets, broadcast of Series 6 of the revived Doctor Who is expected to occur this year.

10th anniversary of the return of Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor in the Big Finish audio drama series.

-*After 6 months of travelling, [[Captain Jack]] briefly returns to Earth to meet [[Gwen Cooper]] on a hill overlooking [[Cardiff]]. Gwen, who is heavily pregnant at the time, is accompanied by her husband Rhys. They give him his Vortex Manipulator back, and when Gwen asks him if he's back to stay, Jack says he feels responsible for the deaths of Steven, Ianto, Owen, Toshiko and Suzy. Feeling there is nothing left for him on Earth, Jack teleports away to an unknown destination. Gwen is left distraught by this, being the only remaining member of [[Torchwood Three]] left. She and Rhys promptly leave the hillside and Torchwood Three is effectively disbanded.
