Weymouth

Weymouth was an English town by the sea. Fitz Kreiner visited the town as a child, and found it serene. He was reminded of Weymouth when he encountered a similar landscape on Yquatine. It, too, had many yachts and cruisers moored in the harbour, but he found everything on Yquatine was on a larger scale. There, the buildings were gleaming and there was no litter to be found. (PROSE: The Fall of Yquatine)

Behind the scenes

Location filming for Ghost Light was done at Stanton Court in Weymouth, Dorset, where it filled in for Gabriel Chase.

Costume designer Michael Burdle was born in Wymouth. Following his death in 2012, the Weymouth Museum held an exhibition in honour of his work.[1]
