External Links: The external links website title is too long and non-specific. The web link should make reference to the site's name it's linking to, with brief explanation. The The Millennium Blag page I edited slightly, so now it reads 'Doctor Who - Battles in Time official website, with trading cards details', less wordy, still all the information, it also doesn't need a full stop at the end, it's a weblink in a list (even if it's the only one there, it's still bullet pointed.

:To paraphrase the Dalek movies; Every move you make I see, every sound you utter I hear...(sounds a lot less creepy in the 60s Dalek voices with the lights flashing not in sync with the voices). I'm always around here. I didn't notice, but have just seen (re Lee Sullivan). As far as promotions category wise it would probably go in :Category:Doctor Who merchandise, probably in a subcategory or two. If there are a lot of promotional give aways for each (the Weetabix, chips, cereal etc) then each should be in a separate category. So maybe (within the DW merchandise category) it can be Category:Doctor Who promotional items, then within that category; Category:Weetabix Doctor Who promotions and so on. Get back to me if I've (as is sometimes the case) jumped on the wrong horse. --Tangerineduel 07:48, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Doctor Who Power Rollers
On first glance I thought these might be a photoshop mockup! We really are in odd times of Doctor Who Merchandising! What the hell are 'Doctor Who Power Rollers'? It seems to live up to the 'slap a Doctor Who logo on it and they'll buy anything' mentality (or am I just being A) Cynical or B) not understanding the concept?) Or both. Ah...for the good ole days of Dapol where they'd release a different coloured Dalek for ever occasion and a green K9. Merry Christmas. --Tangerineduel 13:20, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

:And a Happy New Year to you. Aren't Frubes the yogurt...things. Doctor Who branded yogurt...things. It's no worse than Dalek Ice Rays and other food related Doctor Who things. Don't worry about the BIT things, however I have made it easier, no typing involved anymore just select 'Doctor Who: Battles in Time magazines and cards' from the licensing selector when you're at the upload section, just scroll down it's under magazines. This'll add it automatically, no typing involved. --Tangerineduel 16:30, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

The Darksmith Legacy
Here's a link to the Manual of Style for the TARDIS Wikia: Tardis:Manual of style. This will help you to structure your articles more in line with the rest of the site.

I really hope all that writing doesn't sound like I'm putting you down. You asked what I thought so I've given some constructive criticism which I hope will really focus all your enthusiasm into making some great articles. The potential is definitely there. Definitely don't worry about making mistakes, every one does. I look forward to working with you further on making the TDL articles among the best on the site! User: Clockwork Apricot

Gisella
Could you please come back to the Gisella article you started and, at a minimum, give a list of appearances and/or fill out an infobox? The article has stirred up some controversy (see Talk:Gisella) because the lack of sources has made some editors unsure it's "real", verifiable information. Thanks :) CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 08:38, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
::Seems to have progressed a bit since your break, so it's not as objectionable as when I left the note. But, hey, while I've got you online: a question about TDL. From what I can tell of the online site, the contents there amount to easter eggs. Is it more substantive than that? I mean, is there new fiction there which is genuinely different or greater than what's in the books? Should we also create a page about the website itself so that people can cite it using the WEB prefix? Or is there nothing on the cite which one would likely reference in an article? CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 21:58, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Comic infoboxes
Because of your past work on filling out a lot of comic-related material, your views are invited on a proposal to radically alter the comic infobox. Please come to the forum thread and give your views. Thanks! CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 17:02, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
::These have now been implemented. Please refer to :template:infobox Comic for detailed instructions. If you have further questions, or find some flaw in the programming as you enter strips, please let me know. CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 02:06, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
::Thanks for the note :) Whatcha mean "online publication"? I might need to put in another little variable there. Are we talking about exclusive online comics? If you'd give me an example I can probably recommend the best way forward. Need to be careful, though: most online comics aren't actually licensed, and therefore would be outside the scope of this wiki. Anyway, keep me informed of any problems you're having as and when you use the template. CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 23:58, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

:::The Return of the Vostok was an online exclusive Torchwood comic. Americanwhofan 00:52, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
:Right, okay, but that's about the only one I can think of. The Whoniverse isn't like the SW Universe, where official online comics have been going on for years. Nevertheless I did add a variable to allow for a website as the place of first publication. Check out improvements to The Return of the Vostok for how to use the template with webcomics.

:I've also taken on board your query about online BIT online reprint thingie. There's now a variable called web reprint which allows you to define a site for the official reprint of comics that otherwise first appeared in magazines. I'll wager, though, that this BIT reprint is the only of its kind, and even it's not a very straightforward re-release of a comic to a webiste. About the only "official" release of a comic to a website I can think of are the Radio Times Eighth Doctor thingies, which were reprinted online by permission of the creative team (and one assumes the BBC). CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 00:58, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Easter egg
Well, I'm the one that expanded it to contain both usages, following the broadcast of POTD. So i think it should be both meanings on one page. They are related, after all. A DVD Easter egg wouldn't be called an "easter egg" were it not for the holiday treat. CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 01:47, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Images not appearing
Had a look, and eventually copied the name of the image file you downloaded over the top of the text in the article (and then did an undo to see the difference) and it's a tiny mistake which is basically the difference between holding the shift button (or engaging the caps lock). Here I'll demonstrate:
::Image:Lee Sullivan BF 6 4 The One Doctor.jpg
:and
::Image:Lee Sullivan BF 6 4 The One Doctor.JPG
::Yep. Simple as that. I didn't think it made a difference but it does (if you're staring at it and thinking 'what's difference? As I probably would) it's .jpg vs .JPG. Also all images (everything I think) that now gets uploded starts with the prefix File: rather than Image: (image still works, but just thought I'd mention it).
::Also if you can make sure any new uploads have the lowercase .jpg extension lest other people get into this conundrum (also makes easy if anyone were to type the file name (I don't know why someone might rather than using copy and paste, but eh...) or if someone's copying and pasting around page it's easy to get confused between JPG and jpg. Hope this has helped. --Tangerineduel 13:38, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

:::Hey, Just thought I'd message and say I;ve fixed up most of the Lee Sullivan gallery. Have discovered some other issues to do with file names.
:::I'm assuming you wrote up these galleries prior to uploading the images, or uploaded the images and mis-remembered the format you used. (I've done it occasionally in the past)

:::Basically some of the titles have the 'The' omitted from the titles, others however do have the 'The' kept in the title.

:::Also watch for the space between the end of the image title and the .jpg

:::There's also just a case of spelling mistakes between what the title is, and what the file name is.

:::Just thought I'd let you know for next time (as it's a little bit fiddly for me looking between this page, the Unused file page (where all files are collected that aren't being used at the time being) and the upload log looking for the files that look similar to those missing that aren't easily fixed by changing the .jpg to .JPG or removing / adding 'The'. (or alternatively I've found two files that use the .jpeg extension) Thanks. --Tangerineduel 16:26, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Comic infoboxes etc
About a month ago I proposed a revert of the comic infoboxes as CzechOut was the one driving the process and hadn't been around for 20 days (it's now 51 days), see Forum:Proposal - Revert Comic Infobox for the discussion/vote). As a result of that discussion the infobox was reverted and Tardis:Infobox development was begun (the infobox CzechOut created is preserved in the current infobox, but it was also copied with its history intact to Template:Infobox Comic project 1). The aim is to create an infobox that many users in the community can edit rather than relying on one user to do all the work. (Also just to note prior to my proposing the vote I did query Wikia central on this just in case there might be a viewed conflict of interest given my questions of CzechOut's inputs you can read my correspondance here). --Tangerineduel 14:34, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Infobox issues
For the Reference book infobox previous release and next release 'next release' and previous release, rather than just next and previous. I've actually altered the infobox slightly (as part of the development of the infoboxes), so include all fields, including the previous and next release, even if you're not going to use them. By including the fields (even if they're empty) they will not appear within the infobox's structure (see Tardis talk:Infobox development), down near the bottom of the page is a work process, but the concept is the same. (feel free to quiz me on this one).

Can't the Quiz Books use the reference book infobox? --Tangerineduel 12:36, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi there - just passing through and thought I'd say hello - a really nice page on BiT. Was very amused that some of the isolated images I couldn't remember drawing :) Speaking of which - back to the drawing board for issue 59! Lee Sullivan 20:45, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
