John Lumic is a business tycoon and owner of Cybus Industries. He was born in Great Britain and calls it 'The Homeland'. He has advanced the entire planet through his inventions such as the Earpod.
He is dying from a fatal illness and plans to use his vast knowledge and fortune to survive after death. He uses Cybus Industries front organisation International Electromatics to collect the homeless for experiments.
