The Thirteenth Floor was to have been the fifth story of series 5 of The Sarah Jane Adventures. However, due to the death of Elisabeth Sladen in April 2011, only half of the series was filmed, resulting in The Man Who Never Was being the final story of the series. It would have resulted in Clyde and Rani (Clani) officially getting together as a couple, (DWMSE 32) having hinted at having feelings for each other before. Phil Ford rewrote this story as a two-parter for series 2 of Wizards vs Aliens. It aired on the CBBC channel in November 2013.
