The Inklings were a group of writers who met at the Eagle and Child. C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien were both members of the Inklings. The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond once joined the Inklings and heard C. S. Lewis read an early draft of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. (COMIC: The Professor, the Queen and the Bookshop)
