The crew thought Scrum was a technical genius. He travelled with the crew to the planets Hurala and Arkheon. On Arkheon he was exterminated by the Daleks and Command Dalek as he was of no use to them. Scrum's death was avenged by Cuttin' Edge who killed the Dalek that killed him in the mines.
