Flo worked at Nadir Motorway Service Station near Bramlington. She saw a lot of musicians working there, such as Jimi Hendrix, Lulu and even the Wombles. In 1974, she consoled Patricia Ryder after the Methylated Spirits broke up. She recognised the Tomorrow Twins. She told the Eighth Doctor about the creatures that attacked her mini.
