Eric was the squire and messenger of Lord Edward of Wessex.
While in the woods, he was captured by Bloodaxe, and was taken to Irongron's castle. He was then forced to tell Irongron about Lord Edward's plan to attack him after Linx unlocked his mind. (TV: The Time Warrior)
