Sun God

Sun God was the name of supposed deities worshipped by different peoples.

On Earth, Aztec tradition required that during an eclipse, a human sacrifice — indeed, the "Perfect Victim" — be given to the Sun God. (TV: "The Bride of Sacrifice")

On Jaconda, a legend told that the Sun God was offended by the queen of the planet, so it sent the Gastropods to devastate it in retribution. (TV: The Twin Dilemma)

The inhabitants of the planet Ribos believed their homeworld was a battlefield in the war between the Ice Gods and the Sun Gods. This would have caused the turnover of the seasons — icetime and suntime. (TV: The Ribos Operation)

The inhabitants of the Sun-singers of Akhet worshipped the planet Akhaten, mistaken for a sun, as the Old God. (TV: The Rings of Akhaten)
