Valcea was the home planet of the Glass Men. (PROSE: The Blue Angel) Twenty four hours on Valcea was the equivalent to two and a half days. (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme)

30,000 years after the Eighth Doctor's visit to Valcea, the planet had become home to a series of segregated societies that rarely interacted. The New Gods ruled over the remains of the City of Glass.

Iris Wildthyme, Panda, Barbra, and Simon visited Valcea during their search for Anthony Marvelle. After a night at the Winged God, they drove to the City of Glass and faced the New Gods. Marvelle attempted to obliterate Iris and her friends with a bomb, but he only succeeded in shattering the City of Glass. (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme)
