The Mandelbrot Set were the masters of Cathedral. The grey man called them the processors of chaos and order. They appeared as 23 stone heads, resembling those on Easter Island. When the grey man was killed, it destabilised Cathedral. The Set fought amonst themselves to gain control, but completely destroyed each other in the process, leaving Cathedral leaderless.
