Doc Gallifrey was an alternate dimension version of the Eighth Doctor. He was the gun-toting protector of Vortex City.

The name Doc Gallifrey was used by the Eleventh Doctor during a Wild West simulation on Multiworld, again impersonating a gunfighter. (COMIC: When Worlds Collide)
Behind the Scenes
- The Eighth Doctor's first outfit was a costume of the famous lawman and gunfighter Wild Bill Hickok. This version of his incarnation fulfills the actual role of a lawman and gunfighter, who was also shot to death like Hickok.
